If uninspired crap like this was rejected in 2002, why is a professional designer pushing them in 2008? Adding circular letters isn't that big of an improvement.
I think the reason the
I think the reason the above drops were rejected are because they look more like balloons or butterflys or clover or fleur-de-lis, respectively, than they look like drops. The drops in Mark's latest design rough-draft are a clearer depiction of water drops.
And, even for 2002, I don't think they are “uninspired crap”. They look like the rough-drafts of a professional designer. So, let's keep the inflammatory words out of the discussion, shall we, Juan?

I agree.
The splash in the new logo being proposed depicts the drop/drops concept far more elegantly without looking amateurish or childish.

I think it's nice but
