A dubby entry for Drupal remix contest

Drupal announced it's theme song remix contest recently. As I have sat idle for a while composing-wise, I decided to give it a try.

Here it goes: drupal-song-dub-remix.mp3 (2.4 MB)

The track – well not exactly a track, more of a demo or interlude – is composed in Apple Garageband. I did not kept much of the original vocal parts, except the non-avoidable catchy chorus. I liked the background vocals more than lead one, so I emphasized them, adding gospel-like harmony (up fourth, down minor third). Drum beat is slice of the original part, looped and echoed, same goes for piano. Bass and cymbals came from free-to-use percussion break, slowed down to half tempo (44 bpm). And mallets: slice of the originals, pitched down 2 octaves and EQed thin.

Sorry for crappy sound of the remix, only headphones I could use were supercheap in-ear ones.

Unlike the original, this doesn't make me want to shove tissue in my ears.

I have found a lot of useful

I have found a lot of useful information from this platform. I must say that sharing your thoughts with one another is an easy way to relax yourself in the daily hectic routines. Each time a description of the change, there are always lots of talk about it anywhere. These are not exempt. I mean one must be up to date with the day to day change in the environment and in the technology as well. In my personal opinion, the world is turning into a global village and now you can get a lot of required information by just a click while sitting where ever you are. 642–832\\ 70–432\\ 650–987\\ 640–721\\ JN0–101\\ 70–667\\ MB2–868\\ 642–447\\
